About the event
Together, we’re lighting the path toward recovery, rebuilding whaanau, and reclaiming lives.
Our Purpose
The name Marama Ora means "Living in Light." It reflects the heart of our kaupapa - to help mothers and their whaanau move out of the shadows of addiction and into a place of clarity, strength, and love. We believe in the power of shared experiences, the strength of a united community, and the transformative potential of aroha.
Our Vision
We see a Raahui Pookeka where whaanau stand strong together, where tamariki grow up surrounded by love, and where those who struggled with addiction are now guiding others to freedom. Marama Ora is a movement - driven by aroha, inspired by hope, and grounded in the belief that no one is beyond healing.
This is a journey we walk together. For our mothers, our tamariki, our whaanau—Marama Ora is living proof that there is light after darkness.
